Community Education at Sierra College, also known as Kaleidoscope, offers
a variety of exciting classes and activities designed to meet the
personal enrichment and professional development interests of our
diverse community. Our courses are short-term, not-for-credit,
fee-based classes, workshops and training programs providing
opportunities to expand your horizons, develop your talents or
learn a new skill.
Classes are offered in areas of career, computers, creative arts,
food and wine, health, home and garden and many others. Special
activities such as motorcycle training,
trips and children’s sports camps are also offered. New
classes begin nearly every week and are scheduled at times
convenient for adults, including evenings and weekends.
Additionally, more than 300 online courses are available in a
wide variety of subjects. Community Education is self-supporting
and participant fees cover program costs.
