Overview

Engineering

Do you love math, science and technology? Begin your study of chemical, civil, electrical, or mechanical engineering. Build roads or machines. Develop energy technologies. Or, create new chemicals for everything from medicine to cosmetics.

Careers in Mechanical, Biomedical and Chemical Engineering

Become a mechanical engineer and design everything from generators to elevators. A biomedical engineer creates artificial limbs and medical equipment. A chemical engineer helps produce fuel, drugs and more.

  • Become an aerospace, petroleum, or nuclear engineer.
  • Get jobs in construction or architecture with a civil engineering certificate.
  • Find work in fabrication, HVAC or industrial safety with a general engineering certificate.
