Philosophy

Do you have an inquisitive mind and like to figure things out? In Philosophy, you’ll find the questions that human beings have been asking since the beginning of history. You’ll also hone your reasoning and critical thinking skills and become an accomplished writer. From logic to ethics, find your place in philosophical dialogue.

Careers in Teaching, Business and Marketing

In philosophy, you’ll learn how to think, which will prepare you for a career in law, writing, medicine and more.

  • Start your career as a lawyer or paralegal.
  • Work in marketing, advertising or public relations. Or, get a job as an editor, copywriter or grant writer.
  • You could develop public policy, work for a non-profit or become a political consultant.
